Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) has announced the appointment of Marcella Sivilotti as Global Wealth Chief Operating Officer, reinforcing the leadership of its expanding global wealth management business. Sivilotti’s arrival follows the recent expansion of MAM’s Global Wealth platform, which has added professionals across sales, investment specialists, product, marketing, and fund operations. Sivilotti brings extensive leadership experience in the asset management industry, having previously directed global strategy and corporate development (M&A) at PGIM.
“Marcella offers a combination of strategic vision and deep asset management expertise that will prove invaluable as we continue to expand our Global Wealth business. We see a significant opportunity to help advisors enhance their clients’ portfolios through the incorporation of private markets solutions. Marcella’s appointment, alongside the ongoing expansion of our international team, represents another pivotal step in our strategy to build a leading private markets solutions platform serving wealth clients globally,” stated Kimberly LaPointe, Head of Global Wealth at Macquarie Asset Management.
Sivilotti’s appointment aligns with the consolidation of Macquarie Asset Management’s presence in the U.S. wealth management space, where it has recently brought on seasoned personnel across core distribution and client-facing roles. The investment in sales personnel, investment specialists, product, and marketing is expected to strengthen and expand partnerships with wealth management firms and financial advisors, delivering innovative investment solutions and bespoke technical education to support their business development.
Commenting on her appointment, Sivilotti added: “Macquarie has a differentiated investment platform and a very clear ambition for its wealth management division. I am proud to join this team and help build upon this solid foundation, expanding the capabilities and solutions we deliver to wealth management firms and financial advisors.”
