The world's 300 largest global funds reached $27.7 trillion after rising 13.4% in 2025, driven particularly by the top 20 (+14.7%).

The Norwegian sovereign wealth fund exceeded $2 trillion in assets under management for the first time, consolidating its position as the world's largest pension fund.

Both regions increased their global share to 24.6% and 26.6% respectively, while North America reduced its share to 44.7%.
