Marc-Olivier Buffle joined Pictet Asset Management in 2014 and is Head of Client Portfolio Managers and Research in the Thematic Equities team, an internal member of Global Environmental Opportunity’s advisory board and of Pictet’s Environmental Policy Committee.
Prior to that Marc was a member of the Board of the Swiss Climate foundation and of Pictet’s Sustainability Board. Before joining Pictet, Marc was at RobecoSAM where he acted as Head of industrials and water equity research, as well as co-Head of Sustainability Investing research. He was responsible for the research methodology underpinning the S&P Dow Jones Sustainability Index. Prior to that he was responsible for water technologies business development in EMEA at the Danaher Corporation. Marc started his career at Trojan Technologies in London Canada, where he led a R&D team focusing on advanced water treatment technologies.
Marc holds a MSc in engineering from the ETH in Zurich, and a PhD from EAWAG in Environmental Chemistry and is the author of patents, scientific articles, technical and financial publications.
Hans Peter Portner joined Pictet Asset Management in 1997 and is Head of the Thematic Equities team and a Senior Investment Manager. He began his investment career in 1992 as a Portfolio Manager for international equities with UBS Brinson in Basel, where he managed single country funds and capital preservation funds. In 1997, he joined Pictet Asset Management in Geneva as Senior Investment Manager for international equities. He held the same role in London from 1999 to 2001. Hans Peter holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Bern, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Omar Moufti joined BlackRock in January 2020 to cover the Thematics Index range as Product Specialist within the EII EMEA Product Team. In this role, he is responsible for providing insights, content and analysis to drive overall iShares Thematic ETFs commercialization. Prior to working at BlackRock, Moufti worked at EFG Bank in Switzerland, where he served as Senior Equity Specialist and helped set up the private bank’s advisory offering. Before EFG Bank, he spent 10 years in Union Bancaire Privee’s asset management division, across London, Hong Kong and Geneva, working as a portfolio manager, analyst and investment specialist for a number of its active equity ranges, and previously as a hedge fund advisor. Moufti is a CFA and CAIA charter holder and holds a M.Sc. Economics from the University of Surrey, and a B.A. Economics from the American University of Beirut.
Kate Griffiths joined Pictet Asset Management in May 2017 and is Client Portfolio Manager in the Emerging Market Debt team. Prior to assuming her current position, Kate was a Senior Client Relationship Manager for Pictet, working with key institutional clients for the firm.

Mayssa Al Midani joined Pictet Asset Management in September 2018 as an Investment Manager in the Thematic Equities team. She was previously a Portfolio Manager within the Pictet Investment Office focused on special situations across the capital structure and private equity co-investments in the consumer sector. Before joining PIO, she was an Equity Buy-Side Analyst at Pictet Wealth Management specialising in global consumer equities.
Ingo R. Mainert is Managing Director and CIO Multi Asset Europe at Allianz Global Investors. He is a member of the management board of Allianz Global Investors GmbH. He started his professional career in 1988 at Commerzbank AG, where he took on different roles in asset management and from 2006 he assumed additional responsibility as CIO for the entire portfolio management of cominvest, which became part of Allianz Global Investors KAG when Dresdner Bank was taken over by Commerzbank in 2009.
Franck Dixmier is Global Head of Fixed Income and a member of the Investment Executive Committee at Allianz Global Investors. Since 2012, he has been CIO Fixed Income Europe, and in 2015 also became Global Head of Fixed Income, overseeing all fixed income investments across the firm. Dixmier joined Allianz Group in 1995 as Fixed Income Portfolio Manager.
