Se incorpor\u00f3 a Morgan Stanley en 1987 y tiene 33 a\u00f1os de experiencia en inversiones. Anteriormente, Michael fue estratega global de renta fija para la divisi\u00f3n de Renta Fija de la empresa. Antes de unirse a la firma, fue profesor titular de econom\u00eda en la Universidad de Columbia.
