Entre sus funciones est\u00e1 la de coordinar las Cumbres Iberoam\u00e9ricanas de la Comunidad Iberoamericana de Naciones. Antes de su nombramiento, fue Secretaria General Adjunta de las Naciones Unidas y Administradora Asociada del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo (PNUD). Desde 2006 al 2010, la Sra.
