As Chief Investment Officer, he actively participates in defining the funds\u2019 investment strategies. He manages the Carmignac Investissement fund and co-manages Carmignac Patrimoine alongside Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Leroux and Rose Ouahba. After receiving an MBA from Columbia University, Edouard Carmignac began his career in 1972 as an analyst for Blyth Est Dillon in New York before joining Paribas where he was in charge of international financial transactions. In 1976, he was appointed Deputy Manager of Banque de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Europ\u00e9enne Financi\u00e8re, responsible for loans to the energy and mining industries.
