Anthony Markham is a Partner at Maitland. He has more than 30 years\u2019 experience as an external international adviser and five years\u2019 experience as a legal counsel to a multinational family office. He has a depth of experience in the issues which face international wealthy families and particular experience in managing the transition of wealth between generations. This includes negotiating the allocation of wealth and control with incoming family branches and members, tax issues, tax and regulatory issues and fiduciary issues. After qualifying in England and South Africa, Anthony joined the entity that was to become Maitland in 1983 in Luxembourg, became a partner in 1986, moved to the Isle of Man to open the Maitland office in 1990, and moved with Maitland to London in 2000. He then joined the E Oppenheimer & Son Family office in 2001, and returned to Maitland as a consultant in 2005. In March 2009, Anthony returned to Maitland\u2019s Isle of Man office as a Partner and Director of the entity.<\/p>\n

Anthony has been listed in the Citywealth Leaders List for a number of years.
